Senior DevOps Engineer Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in providing a centralized Master Data repository of Client Profiles and their marketing preferences. Data sourced from multiple upstream systems, ETL processed, and distributed to multiple downstream systems.
Project Objectives:
- Create a central store of client profiles and their marketing preferences (consent management)
- Handle the master data management elements around the datasets that flow in from the various data sources
- Pump the data out via bulk or API to various marketing platforms as it will be the master authoritative source of marketing consent
This position offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the client’s office in Kraków, Wrocław or Warsaw.
Responsibilities
- Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configure CI/CD pipelines using platforms like Team City, Jenkins, GitLab, and Terraform
- Demonstrate proficiency in core Azure services such as PaaS, Azure DevOps, and Vault, as well as handle Microsoft Azure cloud platform for managing applications
- Handle complex data processing tasks
- Design applications around cloud PaaS services leveraging knowledge and experience in cloud architecture
- Collaborate with Technical/Solution Architects to produce and enhance an overall Solution Architecture that describes end-to-end flow
- Use previous experience with customer data and personalization to improve user experience and product features
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with IaC using Terraform
- Good practical knowledge in Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Confidence in architecting applications around cloud PaaS services
- Background in development using a major language such as Java, C#, JavaScript a benefit
- Good communication and collaborative skills
- Fluent English skills at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Cloudera platform with Hue, Hive, HDFS and Spark experience
- Experience working in Agile team, understanding of Agile principles and practices
