Responsibilities

• Designing and managing the data migration process for Pharmaceutical Labs, orchestrating large and complex business application migrations to cloud projects
• Collecting user requirements and devising solutions that meet their needs
• Synchronizing with cross-functional teams, among which are the storage and networking groups, as you work towards the goal of seamless project completion
• Creating high-level, low-level end-end infrastructures using tools like draw.io
• Guaranteeing On-premise infra design and On-Premise to cloud connectivity is sound
• Overseeing cloud infrastructure provisioning, particularly focusing on Amazon Web Services and Kubernetes
• Verifying a sound understanding of cloud security, as well as experience in Cloud networking (VPNs, DNS, TCP/IP, UDP)
• Connecting with a mentor for continuous evolution of both technical and soft skills

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in cloud infrastructure provisioning and data migration, with a focus on Amazon Web Services or Systems Engineering
• Proficiency in designing, planning, and managing large, complex data migration projects from business application to cloud
• Grasp of On-premise infra design and On-Premise to cloud connectivity
• Knowledge of Networking Terminology (On-promise/Cloud), inclusive of experience in Cloud networking (VPNs, DNS, TCP/IP, UDP)
• Proficiency in Linux, and experience with terraform, CloudFormation, compute, ECS, ECR, EKS, RDS, server migration service, and data migration service
• Experience with Docker containerization technology and related management systems such as Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Strong communication and leadership skills, including experience in coordinating cross-functional teams for project completion
• Fluent in spoken and written English to facilitate effective communication with team members and stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience or knowledge in providing IT Support to Pharmaceutical Labs
• Familiarity with Docker containerization technology and corresponding management systems such as Kubernetes and OpenShift
