You love starting new things, collaborating with colleagues, and finding creative technology solutions to knowledge gaps. We design, develop and implement a variety of solutions for primarily online learning— including animations and videos, interactive e-learning, experiential learning, instructor-led training, and assessments—using the latest insights from the learning sciences and methodologies. Responsibilities

  • Interview Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify the learning needs of the target audience
  • Set learning objectives and learning goals appropriate to learner and program needs
  • Select, modify, and create compelling content aligned to learning objectives and modality
  • Create engaging interactive learning activities that enhance the learning process
  • Conceptualize storyboards and work with graphic designers and multimedia developers to create effective instructional assets (e.g., infographics, animations and video, e-learning interactives)
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product
  • Develop comprehensive assessment to measure the effectiveness of element, module, or course
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders
  • Work collaboratively and communicate regularly with SMEs and colleagues during the development process
  • Apply adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design to all activities
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams to leverage internal tools and resources

Requirements

  • Good eye for visual design
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a team with highly-skilled and engaged colleagues
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Careful listener and a good communicator (speaking and writing)
  • Passion, energy, a positive mindset, and a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, work independently, and meet strict deadlines. Track record of being reliable, responsive, and client-centered
  • Ability to build rapport and instill trust and confidence
  • Flexible mindset and agile approach to deliverables
  • Ability to adapt style to engage with different kind of stakeholders
  • Resilience and ability to work under time pressure, manage workload and priorities

Nice to have

  • Instructional design experience
  • Experience using authoring tools, such as Captivate, Storyline, iSpring, or Evolve to create sophisticated adaptive learning content
  • Knowledge of instructional design methodologies including but not limited to: ADDIE model, SAM, backward design, e-learning blueprint, design thinking, and interactive learning experiences
  • Knowledge of assessing learning and program impact
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and multimedia principles
