The Director, Project Management is chartered with ensuring the seamless planning and execution of all strategic initiatives, inclusive of directing all administrative and operational activities. This role exists primarily to facilitate the transformation and management of GCP Support Services reporting to the Vice President, Service Management.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee strategic business initiatives and KPIs that deliver value throughout the lifecycle of the customer starting from onboarding to adoption and expansion of services
  • Come from a place of experience and thought leadership to foster the transformation to the next generation of a support practice that leverages a knowledge management, and process improvements that deliver a frictionless experience for our customers
  • Improve current processes leading with proactive monitoring and coordinate organizational procedures for optimal efficiency and productivity for team and process resolution
  • Identify the appropriate inspection topics and mechanisms, including Quarterly Business Reviews, and operational reviews
  • Assist and communicate with leadership team members in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
  • Serve as liaison between staff, executives, and senior leaders regarding key initiatives, team climate, proposals, and planning
  • Oversee daily operations through collaboration with senior management and service leaders
  • Build and develop relationships with employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations
  • Review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure
  • Define key business capabilities within the organization and ensures their execution
  • Act as strategic lead for governance and optimization
  • Track headcount management with leadership team(s) and Finance Business Partner(s)

What You Have

  • BS degree in an associated field or other advanced certification along with equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of management experience
  • 5+ years in contact center support experience
  • Proven experience organizing, directing, and driving operational symmetry between multiple teams
  • Ability to be inclusive by collaborating with people who are diverse in background, culture and ways of living
  • Understands the importance acting as one company that is focused on the best results for our customers, our business, and our employees
  • Experience in engaging with senior leadership both internally and externally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
  • Comprehensive knowledge of support and services organizations
  • Strong understanding of support and services concepts, terminology, and strategy
  • Expert-level presentation and facilitation skills
  • Able to build and nurture cross-departmental relationships
  • Able to think ahead and catch problems before they arise
  • Organized and intensely focused – nothing gets by you
  • Strong work ethic and quality standards

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., MBA)
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Experience with budget management
  • Consulting experience with a focus on operations management
  • Proven success in a product coordination role
  • Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
