Currently we are looking for a Freelance Copywriter for our Philadelphia, PA office to make the team even stronger.

EPAM, recently named the #3 best small company in the US by Forbes, is looking to add a copywriter to its content team in the Philadelphia area. The copywriter will be a key position in supporting the overall content strategy for our client projects across multiple verticals.


  • Work closely with content strategy team to translate business goals and user needs into meaningful content;
  • Partner with content strategy, UX, and design to translate content strategy into interface design and functionality;
  • Partner with client to enhance, edit and reformat legacy and identify new content for creation;
  • Develop marketing and lifestyle copy, naming conventions, instructional copy, and other interface textual elements;
  • Assist in the interpretation/construction of creative briefs;
  • Work effectively as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team to meet deadlines;
  • Thrive on continuous learning and problem solving around emerging solutions like responsive web design;
  • Become an expert of our clients’ business, project objectives, audience needs and competitive landscape;
  • Ensure content conforms to SEO best practices;
  • Report to the Director of Content Strategy.


  • 5+ years’ professional experience in creative writing;
  • Bachelor’s degree in related area;
  • Strong conceptual thinker with experience collaborating across disciplines;
  • Ability to write within brand guidelines/bring brand voice to life in a consistent, ongoing manner across platforms;
  • Voracious communicator who excels at writing clear, persuasive, original copy;
  • Exceptional proofreading skills with attention to spelling, grammar, and editorial guidelines;
  • Experience working with a broad array of clients in multiple industry verticals;
  • Experience working within multiple channels (web content, mobile apps, video, advertising, whitepapers, interaction copy, etc.);
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines;
  • Basic knowledge of common CMS platforms;
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks without supervision;
  • Adept at collaborating with business strategists, content strategists, UX and visual designers;
  • Ability to work productively and collegially under multiple deadlines.
