Development Team Leader

Currently we are looking for a Development Team Leader with excellent communication skills for our Minsk office to make the team even stronger.

As a Team Leader, you will coordinate and drive the building of the product that will serve our client’s customers. The solution we develop is an innovative and robust cloud-based human capital management platform, which provides a full-scale real-time toolset for managing all aspects of employee’s lifecycle from pre-hiring to retirement.

We are seeking an energetic person able to drive the development team, develop and design solution’s features and ready for intense communication with the customer and other Scrum teams (from Belarus, the USA, and India).


Our client is a US-based multinational company providing top-notch services and software intended to optimize and enhance workforce management.

  • Java 7;
  • Apache Tomcat;
  • REST;
  • SOAP;
  • MuleSoft;
  • Subversion;
  • MS SQL Server;
  • Ant;
  • Junit/TestNG;
  • Sonar;
  • Dynatrace;
  • Attlassian Tools Stack (JIRA/Confluence/Fisheye/Crucible).


  • Leading the team of 8 members (5 developers, 3 QA): team coordination, assignments distribution, monitoring, reporting, supervising and review;
  • Requirements analysis and estimation;
  • Communication with client representatives (Product Owners, Product Managers);
  • Features design and development;
  • Collaboration with other work streams.


  • Experience in coordinating/leading a team of 4+ developers;
  • Good command of English (Intermediate level and higher);
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment;
  • 2+ years of experience in Production Java Web application development;
  • Strong Java Core knowledge;
  • Knowledge and understanding of Development/Architectural patterns and principles;
  • Good knowledge of and experience with RDBMS, SQL;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Great problem solving and negotiation skills; high level of responsibility;
  • Possibility to go on business trips.

Nice to have

  • REST architecture experience;
  • Front-end developer skills (JS, HTML, NodeJS, Angular, React, Amber, etc.);
  • Time and attendance, HR or payroll business domains knowledge.
