Responsibilities
- Provide support in a 24x7 rotational on-call capacity for production databases
- Offer expertise in database technology planning, project support, and consulting
- Design and maintain databases across various platforms, including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL
- Lead disaster recovery planning and testing efforts to ensure business continuity
- Administer database security to safeguard critical data
- Provide support for all DBMS environments on platforms like Z/OS, Windows, Linux, AIX, and ESX
Requirements
- Extensive experience in MySQL administration (knowledge of SQL Server and MariaDB is an advantage)
- Agile and innovative mindset, capable of thriving in a changing and ambiguous environment
- Creative problem solver with a track record of analyzing and prioritizing tasks to meet business goals
- Collaborative team player with exceptional influencing skills, able to build productive relationships across stakeholder groups
