What You’ll Do

  • Alongside EPAM Account Managers, Project Managers and Solution Architects, you will lead initiation, planning and execution of large scale, complex projects, while ensuring EPAM delivery standards are met
  • Work with business stakeholders, executive leadership and EPAM delivery team to define Product Delivery Roadmap
  • Create (or adjust existing) development standards
  • Hire skilled teams based on project landscape and complexity
  • Be able to dig into any issue within delivery organization and provide necessary leadership to the team to find optimal solution (architecture, project management, business analysis, Agile questions, quality assurance, etc.)
  • Lead, coordinate, and drive decision making process for key technology decisions
  • Align EPAM and Client architecture teams; act as mediator to find a compromising decision where needed
  • Develop, maintain, and update integrated project/program plans, and ensure alignment of these plans across functions and with team leadership
  • Track and communicate with key client stakeholder roadmap execution status. Provide transparency for any changes in delivery dates (reasons, risks exploded, mitigation plan)
  • Lead solutioning efforts, driving and organizing other EPAM organizations around you to envision, solution and negotiate solutions for our customers
  • Establish effective, accurate, appropriate, and timely communication within cross functional teams to achieve key program objectives
  • Provide updates on key issues and progress to Sr. Management both within EPAM and at the client
  • Proactively identify issues and provides general guidance to resolve program and team challenges
  • Develop practical solutions to achieve program productivity and quality goals and objectives
  • Develops, maintain and updates integrated project/program plans, and ensures alignment of these plans across functions and with team leadership
  • Maintain knowledge of current status, milestones, issues and key data for assigned programs and serves as the conduit of information and updates
  • Provide input and general guidance to the team for presentations and updates to management and outside collaborators where applicable
  • In collaboration with senior team members, you will assist in formulating and executing the strategy for advancing EPAM programs to successful completion
  • Identifies opportunities for standardization of processes and working best practices as well as recommends a plan for implementation
  • Remains aware of any potential problems and works to mitigate any risks
  • Continue to update your technology skills to lead, coordinate and drive decision making process for key technology decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Strong background and recent hands-on experience in Software Delivery Management and Solution Architecture
  • Ability to understand ‘Big Picture’ as well as to dive into project-level details. Ability to establish and manage ‘at scale’ in multi-region setup
  • Excellent Project Management skills
  • Experience collaborating with Senior Level (VP +) stakeholders
  • Experience working in a pre-sales environment from solutioning to client communication highly desired
  • Knowledge of and experience in software development/Product lifecycle, methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) and IT roles
  • Excellent business communication and time management skills required
  • Candidate should have strong project or program management skills in a highly technical environment
  • A thorough understanding of how to plan, resource, and deliver large-scale technical projects
  • Preferred experience executing programs related to modernization, re-platforming of large-scale solutions
  • Experience executing from ground up solutions
  • Experience delivering cloud-ready solutions, GCP, AWS (preferred) or Azure
  • Experience delivering micro-service architectures to life
  • Experience delivering data-intense solutions, integration architecture knowledge is a plus

Additional

  • As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, the base salary range for a Colorado resident considering this position, is <20th percentile $ – 75th percentile $> + annual and/or discretionary cash bonus opportunities. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of different factors, such as relevant skills, experience level, project assignment, and office location.
