DESCRIPTION


We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (Technical) in Singapore to make our team stronger.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Business and IT
  • Conduct requirements-gathering
  • Activities like evaluating services, using and analyzing a variety of internal and external data and conducting end user interviews
  • Collaborate with our business partners in the creation of business requirements and functional specifications
  • Assist in quality control and project management
  • Identify systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements
  • Prototype solutions on our in-house built tool set and be involved in implementing the final IT solution
  • Become a liquidity modeling SME and a go to person for model maintenance
  • Read and understand project documentation; creates and maintain high-quality business analysis artifacts, including specifications, requirement documents, user story, wireframes etc
  • Establish and maintain professional and consultative relationships with clients
  • Communicate with business stakeholders throughout project lifecycle
  • Maintain expertise and knowledge of business domain, technologies and solutions
  • Participate and support sales activities
  • Expected to work without direct supervision

Requirements

  • University degree in IT or related field and experience in the financial industry
  • IT Professional with comprehensive technical and business skill set
  • Worked in different phases of project life cycle from POC, Proposals, Requirement analysis, Functional and technical design, build co-ordination and different test phases like CT, SIT, PT and UAT, RT, Release and warranty phases of the project, production support and bug fixing
  • Managed end-end test cycles from test planning, test design, SIT, UAT Support, Regression Test, Release to Production activities, Pilot Run, Post production support and team resource optimization. Commendable experience in executing test cycles with a structured process
  • PL/SQL experience in writing and optimization of complex oracle stored procedures, functions, packages and managing oracle objects like tables, views, triggers, cursors and good at advanced PL/SQL programming
  • Knowledge and experience in ETL framework and modelling tools and processes (Data Warehousing)
  • End-end project life cycle following the SDLC processes. Well versed in Quality Process and
  • Software Development having played as the Software Configuration Management Coordinator in the project
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand business needs and transform these into functional and technical requirements and specifications
  • Ability to interpret a set of technical requirements and turn them into robust solutions
  • General experience in IT tools and scripting languages (e.g. XML, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Fluent in English, especially technical vocabulary with good communication skills to work
  • Effectively with internal colleagues from development, business analysis, project management and business users located in different APAC Regions and Zurich
  • Proficiency in BA techniques, tools or business areas
  • Good understanding of one business domain area and business processes. Demonstrate ability to learn and systematize business knowledge
  • Good client management
