We are looking for highly competent Modern Workplace System Engineer to strengthen our Infrastructure Delivery unit.

The role is responsible for managing, maintaining, enhancing and strategic development of the modern workplace technologies of our clients, on-premises as well as in the cloud. We are looking for an adaptive engineer with breadth over several technologies in device management and software distribution, desktop security, productivity (Office365) and unified communications.

  • Drive the cloud transformation of our customers by designing, building, managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting on-premises and cloud-based systems that interface with end-users: Windows 10 systems engineering, mobile device management, unified communications, cloud identity, Office365
  • Strive for automation either by coding, scripting or via third-party solutions
  • Help define, collect, and report on service quality metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Work across teams to optimize reliability, performance, latency, and efficiency for your services
  • Provide monitoring recommendations for systems under ownership
  • Provide input into the product roadmap, including milestone schedules and deliverables
  • Make sure that systems are built to required security standards
  • Follow industry trends and maintain a strong interest in emerging technologies and best practices


  • We expect the candidates to have some of these skills or the willingness to learn others
  • Excellent knowledge of Active Directory as well as Azure Active Directory and their hybrid setup topologies (identity-, entitlement and access management via Office Groups, App Proxy, SSO/SAML, MFA and conditional access)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager / SCCM for software distribution, asset management and tracking, reporting and compliance
  • Excellent knowledge of (mobile) device management systems such as Intune, MobileIron, Workspace ONE or JAMF for MacOS
  • Good working knowledge of Windows desktop security and auditing, privileged access management and vulnerability reporting with tools such as Windows Defender, Thycotic, BeyondTrust, Avecto, OPSWAT, Qualys, McAfee
  • Good working knowledge of Office365 feature administration for Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online – including reporting capabilities on adoption and compliance
  • Good working knowledge of desktop virtualization with Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp or VMware VDI
  • Good working command of PowerShell
  • Experience in monitoring tasks and tooling such as New Relic, TICK/ELK stack, Grafana or Splunk

Nice to have

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification
  • Mac and/or Linux management experience
  • Telephony, collaboration, and videoconference technologies
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation/orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef or Puppet
  • Public exposure (articles, talks, workshops)
