What You’ll Do
- Full-cycle application development in Agile environment, work with different cross functional teams to integrate, debug Bluetooth components on the company’s platform
- Communicate with the customer to clarify requirements
- Integration with other clients’ systems, services and applications
- Write clean and maintainable code
- Performing code reviews for peers
- Analyze firmware issues using sniffer tools and work with Bluetooth Software and Hardware to fix them
What You Have
- BS degree in an associated field or other advanced certification along with equivalent experience
- C programming
- Bluetooth software engineer experience dealing with Bluetooth Classic profiles such as A2DP, AVRCP, HFP
- Understanding of how these profiles work in different roles such as A2DP source (usually the phone) and A2DP sink (say, a headset), etc
- Understanding of how pairing and discovery work on Bluetooth Understanding of RFCOMM and building app-specific custom transports using it
- Experience working with Bluetooth Low Energy Familiarity with Bluetooth debugging tools such as Ellisys packet sniffer, Android BT snoop logs, etc
- Strictly Bay Area location
