Senior Java Developer with AWS experience

Currently we are looking for a Senior Java Developer with AWS experience for our Mexico City office to make the team even stronger.


  • Develop software and tools to support and implement the client´s core payment processing infrastructure;
  • Work as part of a team developing in Java using Agile methodologies;
  • Work with the team and Chief Architect to design and build services for payment processing;
  • Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem;
  • Write unit and integration tests;
  • Perform regular code reviews.


  • At least 5 years of production software development experience;
  • Proficiency in Java (5+ years);
  • A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design;
  • Solid understanding and experience with design patterns;
  • Solid experience working with Java core;
  • Solid experience working with Java Spring;
  • Strong experience with AWS/Cloud infrastructure;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English;
  • Solid understanding of Internet and IP communication protocols and formats such as TCP/IP, HTTP, XML, JSON, etc;
  • Solid understanding of RESTful service architecture and APIs.

Nice to have

  • Proficient in Linux/Unix and comfortable with Mac and Windows;
  • Strong experience in network management, routing, security;
  • Solid experience in process automation, configuration management.
