DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for an IT Software Engineer for our Zürich office to make the team even stronger.

You will be working with the Treasury IT team from Poland and US based team. We are responsible for providing the systems needed by the Investment Bank, Wealth Management and firm wide Risk to manage exposure of its global Front Office trading functions. We also provide the systems that ensure the Bank's compliance to various regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop SQL server procedures, packages, jobs, optimizing queries, cube/warehouse;
  • Support the GALM (Group Asset & Liability Management) Desks in developing software for Risk-based applications;
  • Own Front-end tool VBA changes;
  • Provide Tools Support – investigation and bug fixing;
  • Work on C# and the .NET framework.

Requirements

  • VBA/Excel based expertise to support the desk traders;
  • Expert Microsoft SQL server experience;
  • Experience working with RAD/Agile development methodology;
  • Strong software troubleshooting skills, strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Understanding of programming constructs (C++, C#, Visual Basic, VB.NET) in a MS Windows based enterprise software environment, minimum 2-3 year VB .NET development experience in a corporate environment;
  • Server administration experience (Windows 2008 and newer) – experience with database administration and maintenance, preferably T-SQL;
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, fluent English (German is a plus);
  • Able to understand/translate requirements for implementation;
  • Proactive in managing potential issues and showstoppers.
